World Day of Prayer

24-hour Prayer Vigil from 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to 8:00 p.m. Thursday.

Wednesday to Thursday Sept. 11th to 12th

Unity World Day of Prayer is a 24-hour period of prayer and meditation that joins together thousands of people around the world. Together we will hold the high watch during World Day of Prayer, affirming that there is no spot where God is not. Wherever we are, God is.

The event will feature live-streamed prayer services from Unity Village, a labyrinth walk on our USC grounds, and prayer and meditation practices throughout the day.

Unity Hall will be set up with self-directed individual prayer stations that you can walk through at any time during the 24 hour period. These prayer stations will include an activity or a question for contemplation. You can spend as much time as you would like at each station.

During our 24-hour Prayer Vigil, we encourage active participaton by sitting in the silence and holding the truth: I celebrate the vast possibilities for my life. You are invited to choose a half-hour to sit in vigil throughout the evening on Wednesday, as well as all day Thursday.
