 May 2024 theme is Healing

Divine Order

Prayer: I am balanced and fully present to the Divine Order in my life. I am living in the flow of the perfect right arrangement of all spiritual ideas made manifest in the universe. Divine order gives structure and purpose to my life, and Peace and Harmony are now established in my mind, body, and affairs by the power of the indwelling Christ. Thank you, God. And so it is.

Affirmation: Divine Order gives structure and purpose to life.

Scripture: “And the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways made smooth.” Luke 3:5

Michele Coles on May 26

Michele ColesWe welcome Michele Coles back on April 26 to wrap up this month's theme of Divine Order.

Michele Coles has spent the last 40 years exploring spiritual practices like prayer, meditation, journaling, and the modern alchemy of decluttering. She has studied various theologies and has spent the last 18 years in Unity. Michele is in her second year of ministerial school with Unity Spiritual Institute. She considers herself a truth student and finds relatable teachings in pop culture. Michele shares her gifts of song, storytelling, and laughter to spread joy throughout our community.

She left us with this Spiritual Practice: "Get outside and create a sacred connection between you and the Earth. Find time to work in the garden, take a walk in a park, and stand with your feet on the grass. Do something that reminds you of the oneness of the Universe."

Youth and Family Ministry

Youth and their families are welcomed to the Spirit Room on Sundays at 11 a.m. on the second through the fifth Sunday of each month. Families are welcome to stay for the Opening Circle before joining Sunday Service in Unity Hall.

Their current theme is "From Seed to Seedfolks." Lessons are created using the book "Seedfolks" by Paul Fleischman. It's a story of a community based in Cleveland where 13 people from different genders, ages, and ethnicities create a garden from a vacant lot and discover the beauty in being a community that helps each other, respects one another, and honors the uniqueness of all. We are each important and necessary to create a strong, vibrant, loving community.

From Seed to SeedfolkApril 14: Planting Seeds
April 21: Prayer for Communitree
April 28: Kingdom of Heaven is in the Heart of us All
May 12: Blindfolds and Geoshapes
May 19: God Walk
May 26: Stronger than a Thread
