A Night of Remembrance: Christmas Truce

A Night of Remembrance: Christmas Truce

Friday, December 20th 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm

Come for an evening of songs, stories and healing with Christopher Reynolds.

This healing concert is a remembrance of the 1914 Christmas Truce. In World War I, enemy forces left the safety of the trenches to sing the song "Silent Night" in their own language. In this year, 2019, we will remember and proclaim the same desire for world peace. You are invited to sing, to pray, and to let go of grief and anxiety. We do this on the darkest day of the year, the Winter Solstice, in expectation of new life, light and peace that is the reason for the season.

During this event, we will be sharing an ancient Winter Solstice ceremony that is held at the site of Chartres Cathedral in honoring the sacred feminine and her healing waters. The Cathedral is the site of a well-known labyrinth built in the 13th century in Chartres, France.

Cost: $10
