Antiracist Book Study returns Wednesday, September 16 at 7:30 p.m. EDT, for 8 weeks. Newcomers are welcomed. Please sign up by clicking on the Register Now button below.
In keeping with current events, Rev. Joanne will lead a discusson on racism.
She will use the book How to Be an Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendri. This book study is for anyone ready to be a part of the solution in acknowledging ideas and systems of injustice in order to create a world that works for all.
Amazon promotes the book as "In How to Be an Antiracist, Kendi takes readers through a widening circle of antiracist ideas—from the most basic concepts to visionary possibilities—that will help readers see all forms of racism clearly, understand their poisonous consequences, and work to oppose them in our systems and in ourselves."
You can join this discussion in our Zoom room, Wednesday evenings in July, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. EDT.
You must register in advance and will receive your link to the Zoom room once you register.
