Earth Day





Celebrate Earth Day at USC!

Wednesday, April 22

4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Earth Day is an annual event created to celebrate the planet’s environment and raise public awareness about pollution. This day is observed worldwide with rallies, conferences, outdoor activities and service projects.

We will have environmental groups, discussions, meditation, a labyrinth walk, all culminating in an Earth Day Concert, to be given by Jessie St. Christopher.

Doors open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

A kids area will be set up with earth-friendly games

Environmental groups in hallway sharing information

Earth friendly food will be available for purchase

Ongoing meditation in the Sanctuary envisioning earth in its wholeness

Labyrinth walk begins at 6 p.m.

Concert starts at 7 p.m. with music, storytelling and video sharing

A free-will offering will be gratefully received.
