Conversation Skills

Conversation Skills is currently on hold due to the pandemic.

Conversations Skills is a quarterly class designed to enhance effective communication skills to stay in dialogue when emotions are driving you to shout out or shut down. You will receive knowledge and tools for listening, creating connections, and facilitating dialogue in tough, emotional situations. Together we will learn how to take responsibility for our own experience, commit to increasing our awareness of our own feelings and needs as well as those of the people with whom we interact; develop the capacity to be authentic and compassionate in all circumstances.

Classes will be led by Rev. Joanne. We will have two classes each quarter to learn a new skill and then time between classes to practice and develop that skill.
