Panel Discussion & Workshop
How to Handle Challenging Conversations
In the complex and often bewildering interpersonal interactions of everyday life, we sometimes allow our frustrations or "need to be right" to put up barriers to the type of communication that facilitates mutual understanding.
Join us on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 for a Panel Discussion and Q&A followed by a facilitated workshop to learn how speaking from our heart on difficult topics in a truthful and respectful manner creates a mutually beneficial atmosphere for progress and peace.
Topics to be discussed include but are not limited to:
- Conversations between spouses where there are distressing feelings and a need for change;
- Discussing LBGTQ+ issues with family, friends and others who may not agree with that way of life;
- Approaching loved ones about the need to make healthy changes in their lives such as substance abuse, gambling or obesity;
- Having honest and respectful conversations with those with whom we disagree in today's challenging political climate.
A free will love offering will be graciously accepted. Facilitated by Greg Skuderin.
