 Many
who come to Unity are just beginning their quest to find out who they really
are and what their life purpose is. They are seekers and those who get
deeply involved with our center will gain their valuable answers and move
into a rich feeling of fulfillment. I have a great passion to assist them
in accomplishing this outcome.
Unity attracts more than beginners. A number of our members are Spiritual
Masters and hold deep abiding wisdom. I believe they are old souls. I am
absolutely sure that these valued individuals create and hold the collective
consciousness of love that makes our center so special. One of my responsibilities
is to honor these gifted individuals and listen to them with respect and
appreciation.
My beliefs are based in mystical teachings fromthe pre-Christian era
that source from far older societies. They are eternal truths and not paled
with age; the Laws of Resonance and Vibration are powerful influences working
through invisible, non-tangible forces that were utilized by Jesus and
other Masters. I know my positive and happy thoughts and feelings change
everything –the quality of my life, my ability to attract what I need,
my health, my relationships, and my influence on those who share this planet
with me. In every area of life, I, like you, are interconnected and in
control of what I experience.
In recognition of my interconnection with everyone, I am a life-long
learner desiring to constantly upgrade what I add to this divine matrix.
In the years that I have served at Unity Spiritual Center I have added
a Masters Degree in Diversity Management and a PhD in Counseling Psychology.
I have also become a certified Life Coach and a Consultant in Appreciative
Inquiry. The credentials are not important, the learnings that I can share
are what I enjoy.
I am the proud father of six children, all successful and all growing
spiritually. My joy in enjoying their relationship with Reverend Barbara
and me is similar to the joy I feel when our Unity family gets together
and shares stories and meaningful moments. Sometimes the most mundane comments
are the most enlivening.
I believe you and I have an enormously important role to perform in
shaping and influencing world events, whether it is being green or the
economy. As part of a meditative-community that has impact on everything
around us, our work is to make that impact a positive one for not only
the present world population but for the generations that follow. It is
important that we expand our peaceful, loving and gentle thoughts and prayers
and create a collective consciousness that supports the highest quality
of life for everyone. Our collective positive intentions can create world
peace and save our future from calamities, war, and violent earth changes.
In the words of Margaret Mead, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful,
committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that
ever has." As a minister and citizen of this world I am committed to be
create innovative, generative powerhouses of spiritual energy, focused
on liberating the positive potential of my communities and the world.
