This new woman’s group with a discussion of the Black Madonna and how this icon has traveled down the centuries and has impacted women in all cultures. In subsequent months this group will meet on the second and fourth Tuesdays.

Please join us for an organizational meeting with the intention of forming a local Prayer Shawl Ministry.  Bring knitting needles and left over yarn.  You do not need to know how to knit, we will teach you.

The purpose of this ministry is to meet and create shawls while sharing love combined with prayer and meditation.  When the shawls are finished, they are presented to recipients who are undergoing life changes.  You have the option of choosing where your shawl is given.

This group is open to everyone so ask a friend.  I have brochures available in the office or I can email it to you.
