| Our Annual Fall Concert was held on October 22nd, and the church was
filled with an excitement and musical energy that I hope brought everyone
who attended as much joy as it did for all of us performing that evening.
The concert raised a little over $1000 for the church, and has helped
cover the cost of repairing and returning our organ after being out of
commission for nearly six months. It arrived just before the
concert, and we are so thankful to to hear Jerry's wonderful music again!
It takes so many people to make an event like this successful.
Beth Neel was invaluable in creating the beautiful flyers and programs.
This is the first time we have used Power Point slides with music, and
the results were breath-taking, thanks to Laverne Wilson's expertise.
Without the help of good sound technicians like Al Buehner and John Schlegel
a concert like this one just wouldn't work. The refreshments this
year were so beautifully done that you may have thought they were catered,
but they were lovingly prepared by our kitchen angels. Ali, and all
who helped set up, bring goodies, and clean up...THANK YOU! Tim Wilson
came the day of the concert and quietly did whatever was needed.
There's always a person behind the scenes doing a little bit of everything,
and you just can't function without this person...that's Christine Wilson
for me. Barbara and Stan, I appreciate your trust in me and the freedom
you give me to do this work that I love. Finally, to all who bought
or sold tickets, who made a donation, who came and experienced what we
