"If Life gives you lemons, make lemonade," the old saying goes. 

My life is full of lemons - poor choices, mistakes, things I would have done differently if only I had known, procrastination, taking the easier way.  But in looking back over the years, I see where things worked out in mysterious and amazing ways.  Lemonade was made. but I didn't make it.  God did. 

I always had faith, though falteringly at times.  I tried to trust God in the hard times, but I wavered.  I held to the belief that I could straighten things out, and sometimes I could.  But often I could not.  Yet over time, healing softly and silently occurred.

Lemonade - refreshing and delicious - was handed to me, made of the lemons I had worried myself sick over.  Yes, we do make mistakes and poor choices, but in spite of us, God or Spirit, or whatever the mysterious Consciousness that Is, heals all.  We think and hope we are serving God, but in the end we discover, the Great Lover of all, is serving us.
