Dear Unity Spiritual Center friends,

Did you know that you are God individualized?  Imagine yourself as a white water lily floating in the middle of a shiny green, fan-shaped lilypad.   You appear to be floating freely, blissfully, and unattached in the summer sun.  In truth, however, both your flower and your pad are attached to the bottom of the pond by thick stems.  Think of the soil in the bottom of the pond, the water, the shore, and everything beyond the pond expanding throughout the universe as Consciousness (God).  You are that Consciousness individualized as a graceful water lily and you are continually fed and nurtured by that very Consciousness that you are individualizing.  You can experience the bliss of floating free, and create beauty simply by existing, but you are reassuringly bound by those stems.

There are billions of water lilies floating in the world’s ponds, but each one, when studied, is lovely.  You, as Consciousness individualized in human form, are so much more beautiful than the water lily, even though there are billions of humans. You are the light, love, creativity, kindness, and joy of God, exquisitely focused in the form of you.  In Unity, we say that God is everything, and indeed God is.  But it can be hard to wrap your mind around everything.  In knowing that we are God individualized, we can access all the power we need to become what we most long to be.  God is not out there, an entity or idea to reach toward, God is fully present in the person reading these words.  Calm your fears, quietly dismiss your doubts, take a long, silent moment to know all the Truth you need to know - that you are Consciousness, meticulously and perfectly individualized as YOU!

I am free to experience and express God’s unending love and joy.
I accept the good that is here for me now.
