The Presence of God washes over us and bubbles up from inside of us.  It is all around us and flows from the within to the without with ease.  We're always in the Presence, like we're always in air, but most of the time we ignore the air yet blissfully go on breathing.  Still the air sustains us, ignored or not.  The Presence is more important even than the air, because it gives our lives meaningfulness.  We aren't robots or creatures only of instinct, we are human beings with great capacities for all good things - love, caring, friendship, gratitude, joy.  The Presence is what fills our humanness pressing into fruition these marvelous states of being.  Feel the Presence, practice the Presence through prayer and meditation, take many moments of the day to breathe and open your inner eyes to the magnificent Presence of God in your very midst.
