May you experience the Presence of God, if only for a few seconds during this Christmas season.  What does that mean?  It means may you experience a moment of the deepest peace and most supreme happiness you've ever felt.  It is one of the moments of grace that people on a spiritual path sometimes experience.

In his book, "The Infinite Way", author Joel Goldsmith explains how our consciousness transforms when we're on a spiritual path.  He says:
"One day something happens within.  Consciousness expands and sees that which before was invisible.  One feels a flow of warmth, a Presence never before known becomes tangible; very real.  This is often a fleeting experience.  One may not even be sure it occurred.  It lingers in memory, but more as a dream, until it happens again.  This time more definite and lasting longer.  Gradually there dawns in Consciousness a realization of a Presence always present."

When that happens – when you have those fleeting moments - your Consciousness has changed and you can never go back.  That's when, even in your dark hours, when you want to call out to a far away God, you don't, but instead you go within to the Presence, your center of Power, because you know that at the nucleus of your own being is the power to get you through whatever is happening in your life at the moment.  There is no separation between your consciousness and God consciousness so you never have to worry that there won't be enough power for you to get through your experience.

Stay focused on your spiritual life during this holiday season.  Forge right through all the activity and stress you may encounter, toward your goal of experiencing the Presence of God.  It will be your best Christmas ever!
