1. God is all good and active
in everything, everywhere.
2. I am naturally good
because God's Divinity is
in me and in everyone.
3. I create my experiences
by what I choose to think
and what I feel and
believe.
4. Through affirmative
prayer and meditation, I
connect with God and
bring out the good in my
life.
5. I do and give my best by
living the Truth I know. I
make a difference!
Essentially, we believe we are spiritual beings made in the image and likeness of God (Gen. 1:27) therefore, essentially good.
It’s pretty simple!
Unity’s Five Basic Principles
Unity has ordained ministers, accredited teachers and leaders, churches and spiritual centers worldwide, but no gurus or hierarchy.
Unity publishes the world renowned daily devotional magazine, Daily Word.
For over 100 years, Silent Unity, has offered prayer support non-stop to people around the world.
Unity’s teachings on the laws of prosperity have brought peace, health, and plenty to millions. Prosperity is far more than having enough money in your bank account. It includes health of body, success in affairs, happiness in life and a sense of self-worth and peace of mind.

We Are A Spiritual Community
We are a center of support for spirit, mind and body that promotes the Unity way of life through teaching principles and empowering individuals to pursue their own practical spirituality.
We are a spiritual catalyst for organic change that will profoundly affect our lives individually, our spiritual community, and our world.
As a community spiritual center, Unity has created expanding circles of people who share and care for one another and the greater community.
The Unity community spiritual center provides healing and wholeness through classes, services, and activities involving learning communities, prayer and meditation.
In a safe environment that is accepting, non-judgmental and loving, people from all walks of life gain self-esteem, self acceptance, and self empowerment which enable them to expand and express their possibilities and innate spirituality.
People come and learn from our community, classes, activities and services to possess prosperity and abundance of health, finances, relationships, and self-growth through a centering knowledge of the Wayshower and the Christ within.
In this learning community, people learn to exist in peaceful, God-centered states of mind which empower them to demonstrate and achieve their potentials regardless of outer life situations or circumstances.
People who come to Unity often express these thoughts…
"I am yearning for connection."

"I want to find my inner voice."

"How do I link the spiritual path to everyday life?"
"I am in a new stage of my life."
“I’m not religious, but I am spiritual.”

“I want to believe in something greater than myself that
makes sense with the reality of science.”
Unity Spiritual Center is the ideal place to explore these feelings more deeply.
The Unity movement was founded in Missouri in the late 1800’s and has ordained ministers, but no dogma, hierarchy, or gurus. It welcomes people of all religions, spiritual paths, race and sexual orientation.
Unity did not originate as an offshoot of any Christian sect or denomination.
Unity was in the beginning (1886), as it is today; a banding together of students seeking truth.
Unity Spiritual Center is one of about 900 Unity centers in the U.S. Unity teaches that authentic spiritual experience must come from within a person, a natural outgrowth of their own work in personal growth. As a movement, Unity is sometimes described as culturally Christian, but spiritually unlimited.

“Unity is not a religion, it’s a way of life”
This quote from a long time Unity author, minister and teacher, Eric Butterworth explains why we’re a center more than a church…
“The focus of Unity should be, not in churches, but in living, not in a way of worship but a way of life. The purpose should be not to create great cathedrals but to produce good people in the citizenry. By “good” we mean, not pious, but whole people, spiritually aware people. When we have good people at the bargaining tables, good people in the councils of government, good people as teachers, as officials, and as parents, then the problems of the world will be easily resolved.
Not that we shouldn’t have churches. We may always need them, but as places of study and spiritual research, not as “repositories” of “final Truths.” The problem of retrospective religion is that it ends in the church. The forward thrust of Unity’s now-time religion is that Truth will begin in the church. The great purpose of the new-age church, if we must become a church, will be to teach, not to preach, to set the individual free, not to bind him to a creed or set of metaphysical clichés.”
